Depression. Why is depression? What is it that drives us so helpless about?

Depression is definitely not something new to us, at all. It can happen to anybody, and without one being aware of it, it begins to sink you in your own weight. You may be suffering from it right now, for years even, and not know that you indeed need a hand to pull you out from this deep ocean. People often drown in it. But, you don’t have to be one of them. Because you can learn how to swim out of it, if you start early before the storm hits.

Storms are episodes in your life that act as a driving factor in worsening your state of depression, or help you come out of it. All of us have our own oceans ad hurricanes to fight with, some easy and some difficult. But one of the biggest, and violent of storms is stress. Yes, stress! Frustration caused by dissatisfaction with work and life takes a big toll on the health, it scoops up a big chunk of our happiness and the ability to be at peace of mind. Continuing to let this toxic bubble surround you will only deteriorate your spirit further, instead grasp it early if possible, and remove it from your life. Yes, eliminate it before it gets bigger. Do not let it consume you.

Like the depths of the ocean you could also be standing in waters shallow or deep depending upon which stage you are in.  Some of us suffer from lifelong depression, unable to come out of it, most learn how to live within that shell in the hopes to maybe eventually grow out of it one day.
